Who is Ediz?
I believe that transformation begins long before technology enters the picture — it begins with people. Real progress happens when we take the time to listen, understand what truly matters, and build solutions that empower rather than overwhelm. For me, learning is a continuous journey: exploring new ideas, improving myself, building things that matter, and helping others grow along the way. Whether I’m developing digital products, teaching about AI, or working with teams, I bring the same intention: clarity, humanity, and meaningful progress. Because change is not just about tools — it’s about people, purpose, and shared understanding.
Ediz Güney combines a strong engineering mindset with deep experience in digital product development, platform ecosystems, and AI-driven innovation. With a background in Mechanical Engineering (with a focus on Automotive Technology, Plastics Engineering and Innovation Management) and an MBA in General Management, he bridges the technical, strategic, and human dimensions of transformation.
He has worked in both the automotive industry and the software sector, spending several years as a Product Manager in a high-growth startup where he helped build, scale, and strategically expand a digital platform across industries. His expertise spans digital product development, marketplace and platform strategy, business model scaling, and AI awareness in product innovation.
As a Co-Founder of OLOIDO and the AIcademy, he brings a people-first perspective into every initiative he leads. Ediz is known for recognizing problems quickly, understanding systems intuitively, and identifying practical, human-centered solutions that drive real progress. His belief: successful transformation starts with listening, because only when we truly understand people, can we help them move forward with confidence.

I love baking, cooking, reading, training, and continuously learning. Growth, whether personal, culinary, or intellectual, is a part of my everyday life. And yes: I box to stay focused and energized.
Turkish cuisine is number one for me. Still, burgers are my forever go-to, they just always hit the spot. I love eating!!!
The people who walk through life with me. My family, my closest friends, the people who support me, challenge me, and grow with me. They are my source of energy and inspiration.
I’d open a café, a place to create, connect, and bring people together. Or I’d start something entirely new. I can’t stand still. I always want to build things that make life a little better, whether it's with good coffee or something else 🙂
People tend to fall into extremes: Either they think AI can magically solve everything or they fear AI will harm us in the long run. Both are wrong. AI is a powerful tool, but it’s not a universal solution. We need to use it wisely, understand risks, and empower people to use it responsibly. When we do that, AI becomes one of the most valuable tools we have for progress.

AI evolves quickly and the best way to understand it is to try it, stay curious and grow a little more every day.
